I just got a Fuji FinePix 3800 camera used and it doesn’t have an xD picture card.
I don’t have any other xD Picture card devices, and I would like to make sure this camera is good before plunking down cash for a xD Picture card (yes, I’m being cheap).
Here’s the question:
Will the camera do anything “camera” related, like display a live picture out the viewfinder without the memory card?
This camera shuts itself off when you move the selector to “camera” mode. Is this normal behavior?
In “display” mode it won’t do a whole lot except display “! No Card” and let me look at some of the “menu” functions.
Just trying to figure out if its worth buying a memory card or I should get my money back while I can.

Hi i was wondering if a digital camera needs a lot of equipmenti mean first its th camera, then the memory card and im guessing there a lot motre to it, what is a good brand? I have 160 dollars and im 12. I was gunna save it for college but… i really enjoy photography and im sure i can save up money for the future, although i dont want a cheap camera, i wantsomething like a fuji 5 or 6 mp. Is 160 dollars enough to buy all the equipment can someone state the best and how much it costs plus what are the equipments? What are some possible locations i can buy these products if u mention any?

I got like 5 fuji 800 iso rolls. The first one i shot came out horribly grainy, i don’t want the other 4 to came out like that. Should I overexpose or underexpose it, can someone please explain to me the difference. Underexposing would be shooting an 800 on 400 iso? I have been shooting a fisheye so i have no idea about under or over, but i will shoot with an LC-A soon so i wanna know the diff, thanks!
thanks but im sure overexposing or underexposing does change the grain , i want to be able to use those 800iso film without getting extremely grainy images, thanks for your help though
